World Premiere Musical Drama!
This poignant and beautiful musical brings to life events leading up to a tragic massacre of striking coal miners and their families in Ludlow, Colorado in 1914. It is a story of desperate times, racial tension, courage and love.  Mounting a world premiere is an exciting new step for YMTC; composer and playwright will be working with students during rehearsals as we create this moving epic drama on stage for the first time. With a big cast and many principal roles, it's a wonderful opportunity for everyone.

The writers are a renowned composer and playwright team who have had their work produced at professional theaters across the country, such as the Academy Theater in Atlanta, Madison Repertory Theater, Trinity Repertory Theater in Providence, and the Minnesota Opera Company.
