"The first YMTC show I saw was "Jesus Christ Superstar" and I was absolutely, totally blown away by the inspiring youth performances and the professional, updated urban represenation. Just saw "West Side Story" this past Saturday night. Once again, I was totally gobsmacked. The singing, the choreography, the orchestra, the set, costumes and venue...all incredible, all first-class, all top-notch. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW. I'm planning on never missing anothe YMTC show. I am inspired by the young people who pour their hearts and souls into these productions. Whoa!"

They, along with an orchestra that was particularly impressive, performed with such passion, skill, and raw talent that it was easy to forget that I wasn't in a Broadway or London West End theatre but in a California High school!
